Hi,
We have recently decoupled WD applications such that critical data is read using RFC calls to another system or client.I am facing problems in RFC connection configuration. In sm59,in the tab logon and security,I want to configure connection for current user.I think it'll require setting up of trusted system, which I don't know how to do.Could you help me by providing suggestions on what else I could do?
Vikram
Hi,
Under logon&security->Logon, select current user option.

Do you want to setup a trusted RFC connection? I can't really tell from your question what you want. Do you just always want to use the current logon user for the RFC - if so then you do need to setup trusted RFC. Trusting relationships are fairly simple to setup, although all users you access a trusted RFC must have a certain security profile. Have a look at the online help:

Here is also a blog on the topic:

Hi Shruthi,
Thanks for your answer but it does not work that way.I get the error that name or password is incorrect.
