Hi,

Thank You Guys.

I tried to check the adapter following your advice. Now i'm sure the adapter engine is available.but when i send messages through the soap adapter, they are all failed.

Select Component monitoring,

Select Adapter engine

Select Communication channel monitoring

i wanted to check what happened with my channel,

but there is nothing to be displayed .i mean no any channel

displayed on screen, all though i selected an all filter.

i think something wrong with my adapter engine.....

Thank you guys again!

The problem has resolved by making a CPAcache refresh.

Hi Brand

soap adapter some times faces this problem and the channel will remain inactive until you manually process one single mesage

follow these check ups

1)Check in IDEnvironmentCache Notifications

Here Adapter Engine should show Green

If Your Adapter Engine is Stopped means, you have to start communication channel that you can do

Go to RWB

Select Component monitoring,

Select Adapter engine

Select Communication channel monitoring

select your Communication channel

Stop it and then start it ,your problem will get resolved

2) make a full cache refresh

either by tcode SXI_CACHE or by go to ID -> environment and there you can do full cache refresh

or you may do this by URL also

http://<host>:5<sys#>00/CPACache/refresh?mode=full Full CPA cache refresh

3) Check whether you have given the right credentials. If you are very sure that you have given right credentials then your problem will be solved by restarting J2EE engine

steps to restart J2EE engine

1) run transaction SMICM

2) then in the tab administration => J2EE instance(local) =>send soft shutdown with restart

by this java engine will restart and will be up in 5-10 minutes and your problem will be solved

Thanks

Hi,

Here a path to the Adapter Engine:

<C: OR YOUR_DRIVE_LETTER>\usr\sap\<YOUR_SYSTEM_ID>\SYS\global\tech_adapter\

There are batch files to run it (run_adapter.bat)

and install as a Windows service (install_service.bat).

It's a good idea to install it as a service (if you

work with a Windows platform).

The default name of this service is SAPAdapterEngine.

Please check if you have a such service.

If not then install it by yourself and start it.

Hi,

There are two ways to check the adapter engine status in Integration Directory.

Go to integration directory to clear the cache , Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache.

First: Check the cache notification in ID , Environment menu -> Cache Notification

It should not show any error message 'Adapter Engine not found in Integration Directory'.

Second: Check whether the adapter engine is showing in communication channel level for any adapter either in sender or receiver.
