ChaRM: Status switches back to "Created" / "Angelegt"

Hi Experts,

we are using Urgent Corrections as a basis for ChaRM. We copied all SDHF profiles (Status, Action etc.) to ZDHF, created some extra actions and implemented them into the workflow.

When a customized Status is set (e. g. E0012 - the maximum standard Status is E0010) and the ticket is changed (without setting a new status) e. g. by changing a Business Partner or by uploading some attachments, the Status switches back to "Created" when the "Save" Button is clicked.

Debugging showed that the to-be-set-Status (E0012) is labeled as inactive and E0001 is used instead.

How can the custom Statuses be labeled as "active" meaning how can this be solved?

Dirk,

Not sure if this will help you, but it's worth a shot.

When you create a new User Status in the status profile, an authorization key is not automatically created.

These are maintained in table TJ10 (V_TJ10 in TA SM30). Once this key is created in the table, it can be linked to the new user status and used in authorization roles.

Maybe this link needs to be there, before the status is seen as 'active'.

Well, we decided to use a workaround for this issue.

We modified some sources that overwrite the wrong status - works.
