Hello,
When creating a related person for a student there are 3 roles added to the BP:
-000000 BP (General)
-FS0000 Financial Services BP
-PSCI10 Related Person
Can anyone help me further on how to automatically add the MKK role when creating a related person?
Thanks for your help,

Hi Prabhat Singh
Thanks for answering my question, but I can't find what you mean, probably due to my inexperience with sap business partners.
When I select role PSCI10 and hit change I canu2019t find where to add an additional role to PSCI10.
As I understand it correctly the standard by SAP delivered MKK role is added to a role-category (MKK).
As I understand it correctly I have to add the MKK role to the role category PSCI10. The way to do this is to change the category of the MKK role to PSCI10. If I change the category I come across many problems therefore I cannot change the role category of the MKK role.
Therefore I need to add a second category to the MKK role. But when I look at the buildup of the table where this is maintained (TB003) the role is the only key-field (beside client) therefore you cannot add the MKK role to 2 role categories.
Could you please be so kind to help me further?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Kind regards,

You are almost there. When you are in the IMG Task that Prabhat described, you will see a list of BP Roles. Scroll down to the Role 'PSCI10' (Related Person), and just double-click on it.
Now you will see a screen where the center frame is titled 'BP Role Category'. You will see that the BP Role is assigned to BP Role Category 'PSCI10', probably. This Role Category only contains the single Role. You cannot add Roles here. Instead, you need to change the BP Role Category that is assigned. For example, if you change it to 'PSCM10', you will see the BP Role for 'student' in the grid as an additional role.
Simply choose a BP Role Category that includes Role MKK. You can define a new BP Role Grouping Category (and assign BP Roles MKK in it) via IMG Path:
Cross Application Components --> SAP Business Partner --> Business Partner --> Basic Settings --> Business Partner Roles --> Define BP Role Groupings
Make sure your Role Grouping Category contains the roles MKK and PSCI10.
That should do it!

Hi Michael,
Thanks for answering it really helped me out. But Iu2019m not quite there yet.
I have the Role Grouping Category and Role Group with the 2 roles (PSCI10 and MKK).
My suspicion is that somewhere else in the IMG lays the problem. Because when you check settings for students as business partners in the IMG Path: Campus Management -> Campus Management Master Data -> Students -> Students as Business Partners -> Check Settings for Students as Business Partners.
Line nr 7 says: u201CThe definition of BP role for related person PSCI10 is correctu201D. From that I conclude (hope that is correct) that when you make a related person the BP is only created with BP role u201CPSCI10u201D.
This is because when I deliberately make that check fail (so I have the help for that line) it says:
u201CIn IMG activity Define BP Roles, you define a BP role for related person, assign this BP role to BP role category PSCI10, mark this BP as the standard assignment of BP role category PSCI10, and assign this BP role to BP view PSCI10.
That tells me it is only linked that the BP role u201CPSCI10u201D.
Can you please help me further with my problem?
Thanks,

Hi Lukas,
I think if you modify attribute C_BPROLECAT_RP of this class CL_HRPIQ00BPCONST. It will work. Right now BP Role Category of Related Person is hard coded as "PSCI10".

Hello,
Thanks for your answer.
As I understand it correctly you can only assign one role, standard PSCI10.
It looks like it is not possible (without any programming) to automatically add the MKK role (or any other role) when you create a related person for a student? Besides the standaard PSCI10 rol. (so you have 2 roles automaticly added)
I hope Iu2019m not correct.
Thanks for helping.

Hello:
BP's are created in two ways generally.
1. DI(thru interface), where you can define transfer rules when the source file has particular role or role category type. SAP allows or provides upto 9 role category or roles to be created for a single record in the input file.
2. UI(User interface) using T-codes. While using T-code's, group the roles you want to create as default and assign the Role grouping category to the T-code you are using to create the BP.
Hope this helps.
