Hi,
How do we know that items in BOM are relevant for sales documents.
for e.g. BOM material computer and has items CPU, monitor etc
How is this achieved?

To check this, go to your BOM material.
From menu bar, select one of the items, then Goto -> Item
Select Status/lngtxt tab
You would see an 'X' in field relevant for sales which indicates that this BOM item is relevant for sales.
When you create a BOM, this status is automatically activated because the BOM has been created as a Sales & Distribution BOM (usage indicator: 5 sales & distribution).

Hi Pradeep,
For BOM items the item Item category group is different and Item categories are differenr based on those we do the item category Determination.
So the BOM items can be used to create a sales order..
