In IS-U , the Table BUT000 is the master table for Business Partner and there is a another table BP000(u=in description of this table it mentioned that " Business Partner Master (General Data) ").

the Business partners number which all are in BP000 is not available in BUt000.So My doubt is what is the use of the table BP000 and Business Partner No in BP000 are who?

thanks in advance ...

Hello,

It is true BUT000 holds the master data of BP...but BP000 holds the master data's master data. i.e. to elaborate, when you try to create a new BP using T-Code BP, you have to mention title name 'MR' MRS' 'CO' etc.... These are linked to the table BP000 via T-Code BC01..similarly there are lot of other t-codes linked to the table BP000 like BC02,BC03,BC04...BC50..

Hope this helps

Table BP000 is for a general business partner that is (amongst others) used as ship-to or bill-to partner in R/3 modules (MM, SD, etc)

Tables BUTxxx (000, 020, 021, and others) are for IS-U specific business partners that are created with transaction FPP1 (create contractpartner).

If you're only going to use IS-U, forget the BP000 and remember business partner = BUTxxx

Good luck!
