Error in iview

Hi,

I created an iview for one Webdynpro application. But when i try to preview it in the portal im getting the error

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to get deployable object part info for component

What could be the reason for this error?

sol:

1) Login to SDM and remove the older version of this application.

2) Close the developer studio.

3) Reopen the studio and deploy again and check.

If problem persists, undeploy and try restarting the server.

Can you please explain me the procedure to delete the old version of the application from the portal?

Not in portal side.

Let make sure that webdynpro application is just fine. And you have to undeploy and deploy it again after building the project.

in portal:

choose delete from the iView context menu. If there is any dependencies, unlock the object from System Administration -> Monitoring -> Unlock. choose object and click unlock. Go back to portal contents and delete object.
