How to Up-Load old original files to DMS

Hi, all

I want up-load some old Quality documents which are in 'DOC' 'PDF' 'XLS' formats.

I created WSA for the above applications and working fine.

Also I created Doc Type for QDC and this document has to be linked with some sap objects [MM, PP, QM].This is is customer requirement.

I think Creation of individul document ie more than 10,000 document is Laborious task.

Plz Give me solution.

hi

for mass uploading of document, you use bapi

bapi_document_create2

make bdc to upload the document by taking the help of ABAPer.

under 1 document type (QDC) , automatically no of doc number will be created and corresponding file for that doc no . get uploaded.

Plz explain in details.

I m uplaoding mass of document first time,

also i m not understood DMS_LOAD1 report. how could i use this report to create sequestial files. I used TC= SXDA

what is master data templet in DMS.

so for i understood it is DIR is it right or any thing else.

explain with example is better.

maybe SAP note 817743 could be useful. It explains the usage for SXDA to create mass of documents.
