connecting the printer from VC 7.1

Hi,

I want to add a button that opens the print dialogue box.

How can i show the print dialogue box in VC?

Hai Priya ,

Just Create a Button . double click on button then it will open properties . there in action u can select System Action . after selecting system action u can see three choies to select print option by page , ... like tht .

im not saying radio button . i understood ur issue . when user click on print button it has to show print optionsthat you will get it .

What you are saying is there in 7.0 but not in 7.1.

im talking about in VC7.0 . I think soo In Vc 7.1 also Same right .

Im Saying that .

1) u just Create on button .

2) Double Click on that Button . u will get properties .

3) go to Action Select system Action .there u can see some print options three just select any thing u required and click ok and deploy it it working here .

It is working on 7.0.

In 7.1 there is no system action option lik that.

Are you able to do it in 7.1?

Hi Venkat,

Not every ability that existed in 7.0 also exists in 7.1.

The Print action ability doesn't exist in 7.1.0.

in VC

if u want to get print option from ur form or table .

just click button -> go to Button Properties ->Select Radio Button System Action -> Here u will see Three Radio Button Options .Select ur desired print page or remaining .

ur problem will be solved .

Im not able to find "Radio Button" System action for a button.

Why a Radio Button action?

I need to display the Windows print dialogue box upon clking a button. Are you able to successfully print any page upon clking any button on a VC screen?
