DSD confg. issue.

Hi experts,

I want to configure DSD and is facing some issues.

1. When I Upload DSD syncbos from file it gives error in some of them.How to resolve them.I am using MI 2.5 sp 20.

2. When we define port in DSD backend/connector it ask to go to SAP Web Application Server>ALE>and so on...

Here SAP Web Application Server means r/3(where DSDb/k and connector reside OR it is middleware.Pl. clarify.

Hi Preetham,

WAS is middleware that i know but I want to understand that when we want to define port between DSD b/k and connector which both resides on R/3 then why the cionfiguration needs to be done on Middleware.

The backend sends data in form of idoc to connector and we need to define port for that..so it should be in R/3 right?

Hope someone can clarify me more on this as i am really confused for the same.
