Data extraction error in SNP Planning area

Former Member

We are extracting data from SNP planning area (having few time series key figures) by creating data source (POS - 9AMALO) using transaction /SAPAPO/SDP_EXTR

The extraction data for one of the time series key figure is incorrect when we try to match it daywise. But the total quantity extracted over a entire period (4 months) is matching correctly.

Please suggest steps to remove this inconsistency. We have already tried deleting and again creating data source. But the problem still persists.

Ankur,

As per my understanding of this issue (considering ou are toring data in weeks and months; 1 Month= 4 Weeks)you should have both MONTH and WEEK in your extract structure.

We faced a similar issue in an infospoke extraction.

Hi

Have you run the consistency check /sapapo/ts_lcm_cons_check for your planning area, this should remove inconsistencies between the aggregate and the data in livecache.

Dear Ian,

Consistency checks have already been made. But this issue still exists.

Yes we face error in all buckets. For some bucket the data is not seen and for some bucket data is aggregated.

For example. For one product if data in 10 days is one each per day and total equal to 10 in planning area. Then after extraction in data source, total value equal to 10 is matching. But bucket wise it is shifted in two days as 5 each in those two bucket.

Hi

It sounds like the data is being extracted in Weekly Buckets but it is held at daily level in your planning book. I assume you have CALDAY in the extract structure.

Did you create the back up cube seperately or generated using /SAPAPO/SDp_EXTR for that planning area..

Try creating cube in later way and check.

Hi,

Thanks for your help

Ian, we do have CALDAY in our extract structure

Sujay, we are checking the data in the datasource itself and not in PSA

Uma, We are just checking the data in the data-source, not yet extracted the data in any cube

Thanks, Please update further
