Normalisation

Hi,

I see a lot of fields in SAP tables, are repeated in several tables. Is it not normalised, or for the design / performance purposes, do we have such redundancy?

For Example:

Lots of Item Master Data table (OITM) is repeated in PO table (OPOR)?

it looks like you're talking about business one.

i think it has something to do to access the fields faster with diapi objects.

you should not bother about it.

btw - you can have a look in the database reference help (sdk folder) and control if the fields

have really the same use.
