It is possible to generate SUT(Storage Unit Type) internal Number range in Standard SAP....

Storage unit type is a configured process and does not have a number range.
For instance in WM2 view in the Palletisation or LE quantity you would create a St Unit Type and then specifiy that 100 pieces = st unit type B1 or B2 etc when B1 is a pallet of say 1 metre high. This is used to show what st unit types and Bin types are allowed in which parts of the warehouse.
I think you may mean Storage Units which is completely different and is a unique number to recognise stock in the warehouse and does have a number range which is configurable
