Hi,
in global definitions you can declare the types, then u can create the work area and internal tables in global data. In initializations u can write the initila codings performs, select etc. In form routines it will allow u to define subroutines. Define command lines and there also u can write ur codings

we can write code as same as in report in smartforms as well.
right click on any window>create>flow logic.
but remember please do not forget to declare your data and fields.

Hi,
You can write the code in smartform or in SE38 also.
In smartform:
right click on any window,
create --> flow logic --> Program Lines.
there you can write the code.
And you have to mention the variables in input or output paramters as per your requirement.
In SE38:
write the whole logic here and export the table or other data objects to the function module.
But you should define the objects which you want export from report program in the form interface in smartforms.
