WebDynpro layout view

Hi all,

I'm working with Web Dynpro on NetWeaver 2004s.

Everything is ok, but when I am remotely connected and I try to display a view in the SE80/Web Dynpro Explorer, for the layout tab I get "The page cannot be displayed" internet explorer error message.

What am I missing for a remote connection?

Hi,

When you start your application does the url contain localhost? If yes, then the profile of your server instance should be changed and the localhost strings should be replaced with the hostname of the server.

Hi Kameliya,

thanks for your reply, I solved my problem.

The problem was in the file hosts because I had more than one IP and it also depending on my computer settings.

Now it works properly.
