if there is no mapping,

maybe the following blog would help you:

Hi Prabhat,

>>>Can anybody suggest how I should configure in my Sender File adapter to

there's not a lot you can you can do in your sender file adapter

try using: Permanently connection mode instead of Per File Transfer cause with the last one:

"A new connection to the FTP server is established for each file transfer."

BTW

the most important thing is: how big your files are

that's the thing that can tell you: yes you can process 1200 in 2 hours or not

Hi,

additionally check your memory settings in the VM and think about using the tuning parameters explained in the 3.0 tuning guide.

Dear Michal / Jaime ,

Thanks for your input .

Further to your reply ,

1) I am using NFS instead of FTP then in that case , <b>can you suggest any specific settings that I should use in Sender file adapter .</b>

2)Regarding your reply for processing of 1200 inbound xml files : total file size will be around 3GB .

In case the file size is 3GB then what will be the proceesing time . Can it be completed in 2 hours .

Thanks in adavance .

I guess you can try to straighten your XI settings:

1) if the bottle-neck is the file adapter - create a remote adapter (dedicated server for a remote Adapter engine) this way each adapter will handle those files quickly and throw them to the XI.

2) same goes for the XI itself...enforce the server...

3) try to check is it possible to tune the R\3 to handle more inbound IDoc.

4)Check if there an identical RFC function you can use...usualy there is..

There can be many solutions all depands on lopcating the week points ..

Good luck
