Dear Experts,
Can any one detail about the functionalities of product hierarchy and customer hierarchy fields.
Regards,
Balu.
Hello Balu,
My understanding of the concept of Product and Customer Hierarchy is as follows:
Product Hierarchy:
It is a grouping of products under a certain common category or name. For example, products A, B and C come in two forms - 1 and 2. Thus the Product Hierarchy would be:
Product (Heirarchy Name)
- Node 1
- A
- B
- C
- Node 2
- A
- B
- C
Customer Hierarchy:
The concept is the same. This would be a grouping of customers based on a common criteria. For example, a Region has two different types of pricing information (1 and 2) for customers A, B and C. The Heirarchy would look something like this:
Region (Heirarchy Name)
- Node 1
- A
- B
- Node 2
- A
- C
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks and Regards,
Sharath Krishnan
