install NW 7.0 SR3 Distributed System on Linux x86_64 (RHEL4 U6) error

Hi ,

I install NW 7.0 SR3 on Linux x86_64 (RHEL4 U6)

NW7.0 SR3 => SAP SYSTEM=> Oracle => Distributed System=> Based on AS java=> Central Service Instance (SCS)

there is error while install SCS on the phase 2 of 6 (install common system files)

I am trying to install SAP EP NW 7.0 Distribute RHEL 5.6

But I am getting following error message

I ftp the DVD source by command from server to server instead of 3-party FTP software, the problem is fixed.

I found out that some files were transferred as ASCI instead of Biniaries and that caused the problem.

I issued my FTP program to transfer using binary type only and that solved it for me.

So basically I had the same problem and solution as you had.

Hi Chen Evelyn,

Can you send the latest log files - not just sapinst.log, but there will be other files that are generated specific to this error or specific to the current phase in which this error occured.

the error "No such file or directory" in installsapinit.sh.log.

Is it key error? How should I troubleshooting?
