value contract : material determination

In our value contract, we have to implement material determination.

for every material no in material master we have catalogue no.

material no 1234 = catalogue no ABCD

we raise sales order by entering catalogue no. in same way we need to create value contract by entering catalogue no.

now when I add catalogue no ABCD in my value contract, i get error

ABCD is not defined for sales org 0002, diste chan 02, language EN

when I check MM03 for material no 1234 i.e ABCD, in sales org 1 view: it shows to me correct sales org & DC

Material determination is switching one item to another therefore make sure the other material is also defined for the same sales area. Afterwards, you could use condition technique to switch the material in either sales or contracts.
