notification email is not triggered after alerts generated

We use an SM4.0 to monitor some ECC and CRM systems.

We see some alerts generated at SM4.0. However, no email is sent about the alerts.

Where to check the email configuration?

Take a look at the Sap Note: 1096762.

Lucas:

That note is NOT for ECC6.0.

This used to be working but recently it's no longer sending emails.

Please help more. Thanks!
