Hi,
I need the Oracle 9.2 Installation Guide for 4.6C SR2
I have the guide but it tells about Oracle 8.0 or Oracle 8.1.7
I only found the Oracle Upgrade to 9.2.
Is it necessary to install 8.1.7 and then perform an Oracle upgrade to 9.2. ???
Thank you.
Thanks to everyone.

I have a 4.6C release with Oracle 9.2 running.
I have bought a new server .
The step will be :
Installation of an empty SAP R3
Installation Oracle 9.2
Homogeneous system copy 46c -> 46c
Upgrade from 9.2 to 10.2
Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0
On the R/3 Installation only shows the steps to install Oracle 8.1.7
I want to know if it exist and where to download.
Thank you

install oracle 10.2 incl. patchset and interim patches instead of oracle 9i...it is fully supported to run under sap r/3 46c (check sapnote 940794) -> you must adapt the original kernel cd!
the steps would be:
implement server/operating system (accordings to sap)
install oracle 10.2 - if you're on windows
export source sap database using r3setup (DBEXPORT.R3S)
transfer export to target host
install central system using r3setup (CENTRAL.R3S)
-> r3setup will ask for import db ("next installation service" -> db migration on file system)
install oracle 10.2 when asked - if you're on unix (leave r3setup open!)
finish installation / copy
upgrade to erp 6.0

oracle 10.2 is also supported with sap r/3 46c (extended support for oracle 9i will end 31st of july this year...)

Check note 557255 - Inst./Sys Copy. SAP Systems on UX/Oracle 9.2.0 with R3SETUP
You will need special CD sets (mentioned in the note).
