Material record - cash discount field

Hi,

What is importance of 'cash discount' check box in material master, sales: sales org 1 tab.

I unchecked this box and created sales order.

System is passing on material discount even if this box is unchecked.

Hi - this is mopre at FI level - please test and see - I am pasting SAP's definition for this below for ref:

"Reduction in payment, if payment is made within a certain time period."
