Sapconsole unable to connect to the SAP R/3 system

We have SapConsole 6.2.2.1 installed on PC with WinXP. Occasionally it stopped to work (stopped to connect to our SAP system (4.6C)u2013 message error u201CApplication erroru201D) and I canu2019t identify the reason. Could someone advise how to resolve this issue (it is escalating day by day) or atleast how to determine what is the problem.

Hi

In SAP Console administrator , specify the correct host name system id , transaction code.

Then Start SAPconsole.exe on the server.

SAP logon screen should be seen on PC.

Could be a general network error.

Try to connect to the relevant SAP system using sapgui on the pc that serves sapconsole. It will probably not work either. (assuming that the sapconsole has been known to work, but doesn't at the time)
