Hi,

This is regarding XI 3.1. Which is NW04 on UNIX.

When I run /usr/sap/SID/DV*/j2ee/admin/go to bring the visual administrator. It comes up and all is fine.

Then I choose Server - Services - Security Provider - Runtime TAB ¨ User Management TAB and choose Manage Security Stores button at the bottom right corner.

This is button is greyed out for me.

Why it is greyed out. DO I have to anything to enable it.

Thank you for the help.

I Ppreciate your help.

Thank you.

Sume

Hi Sume,

have you changed to edit mode (the pencil symbol at the top of the window)?

Best regards,

Thank you.

That did the trick. Now I am able to see that button enabled.

Thank you.

BUT

when I click that button i get a pop-up first stating that -

Unable to force pasword change!

Details are avalble in Staus bar.

Then i come back to the window.

What does this message means. Is it something I have to worry about.

Thank you again for the TIP.

Thanks.

Hi Sume,

you can simply ignore this message. It is a minor bug, that is resolved in future SPs.

Best regards,

Joerg
