batch mandatory

In delivery I would like put batch as mandatory.

With out entering batch system will not save delivery document.

In the material master Sales: General plant data aCTIVATE BATCH MANAGEMENT

You can create batch determination or u can put batch manually.

When you post goods issue system will not aloow unless you put batch in tha delivery.

Dear Murli,

Yes, you can do it in the above method.

If it is batch managed , while creating material itself , in Sales / General Plant data -- mark tick in 'Batch Management' , by doing this way , system will ask for only those material which are managed batch wise and not for others.

And this will help while taking stock also , system will ask for batch as a input .

You can assign Batch in the incompletion log of

delivery. Then system will stop you while saving the delivery.
