Real time scenario in pricing

Hi Gurus,

Where we use alternative condition base value, requirement subtotal apart from standard sap. can you give any real time scenario for that.

there is lot of senario's

1)based on material net weghit if the system has to calculate the cost then we have go for alternative condition bas value l(ike with routine).

2) based on shipment vaue if the system has to calculate cost of the shipment we have go alternative condition base value only.

with the abbar we have to get it done like with routine that routine we have place in the pricing procedure with VOFM T.code
