SCM business process mapping using ARIS

Hi,

Is any one used ARIS tool to map their SCM business process mapping?

If yes what are the advantages we get

Hey there,

we used ARIS as a tool for the process design, however, it took more time than if we would have done it in MS Visio or Powerpoint.

The problem is that it is server-based, you can't work in parallel, and if you do not link it up with SAP Solution Manager or ERP, it is making no additional sense.

If the client had not insisted on using it, we would not have done it! It is too time-consuming!

While estimating the time we should consider the time we will spend on the mapping the processes...

SAP is also encouraging to use ARIS ---> Solution Manager

Now a days Clients are asking ARIS ..
