Hi all,
plz tell up integration points of PS-PM for carrying out maintenance project? in detail plz...
regards
pushpa
The integration between PS and PM is needed when we need a Major maintainance activity to be monitored minutely (imean when you need a separate planning, Budjeting and execution) As mentioned by other PM order can be assigned to WBS for exectuion phase of the project.
Please let me know if you need any specific details
Thanks

Hi
You use the entries in the PM/PS reference element to populate the corresponding fields in task lists and maintenance plans in Plant Maintenance, and WBS elements and network activities in the Project System.
By maintaining the same entry in different areas, the system copies the values to the PM/CS orders when they are generated, and you can use these values for automatic assignment from PM/CS orders to projects.

Hi,
You can assign PM order to WBS or Network activity on additional data tab of order. What this will do is that the al the postings made on the PM order will be booked on WBS/Network and we can also use budgeting via linking WBS/Network to PM order.
