How to bring in contact person name and telephone number into sales order for partner functions? Is it already copied, then where to look for in sales order? Or do I just directly take in from customer master while printing?
Hi uma
Go to VA02 -> environment -> partner functions > display sold to party
shortcut key (F6)
Then you can see the general data . click on contact person tab . you can view all the details

You can create a partner function and add it to the customer master partner procedure. You can do the same for the sales order header.
Define the access sequence to copy from the customer master to the sales order.
Assign your contact to the new partner function in the customer master and it will copy to the sales order header. You can then identify the contact assigned to your new partner function at print time in your output form.
Alternately, you can read from table knvk to determine contacts connected to a partner. The table knvk has the contact person number and the partner number of the connected sold-to, payer, etc... as part of the key. You can read from this table to determine all contact persons connected to a partner.
