Copy from clipboard/upload from file with wdr_select_options

I have looked into the wdr_select_options component and I can clearly see the buttons used for copy/upload however I have noticed that the code for the event handlers is empty. Also, there doesn't seem to be any supporting code in the assistance class for the component which leads me to believe that this functionality is not yet implemented for the select_options component.

Can anyone verify this and if this is true, are there other existing solutions to enabling the copy from clipboard and/or upload from a file for a range in web dynpro?

I'm afraid that I checked our SAP Web Dynpro ABAP Foundation development system, and those methods remain unimplemented even there. I suspect that this functionality might have been specified because it exists in the current SAPGUI version, but has not been addressed yet. I can ask the development lead about it, but if it isn't in the system already it would be a least a year before you would see it.
