FORMATTING ERROR IN CASE OF SMARTFORM

I am getting an error in case of smartforms called formatting error.The surprising thing is that there is no error when i am activating the smartform.But when I call the function module fm_name in SE 38 then there is an exception thrown called formatting error.PLEASE tell me all the possible reasons

If duriing runtime you get formatting error,it means either some required data for some field is missing.

Or size of the data is bigger than the template or window size.

Hi Shah,

Are you using any include texts in the smartform. You have to check the check box No error if no error exits.

If you are not using the texts,Put a hard code break point in program lines at different steps and see till which part of the code is executed successfully.
