Hi,
What is ALEAUDIT with respect to IDOCS? When will they use it?
How do you test an Alert.
Regards,
swati
ALEAUDIT is used for IDOC acknowledgements
Check this document on handling IDOC acknowledgements. This might give you some pointers.

ALE audit is only possible for IDocs of type logical system (LS).

Hey Swati,
ALEAUDIT is an Idoc in itself.
It consists of the information about the status of other Idoc.
Example: Direct, Status, Document No. etc,
You can import the Idoc(ALEAUDIT) in XI and map the required fields.
Scenario can be somethng like this.
File-> XI-> idoc.
Idoc Ack(ALEAUDIT)-> XI -> File.
You need to configure certain things for the ack to be successfully sent to the sender(file).
here is the link for the configuration.

Milan

Hi,
This means acknowledgements for IDocs, here 2 types of acks are there
one is Transport ACK and second one is Application ACK.
Transport ACK : it tells the data reached the target or not.
In SXMB_MONI we can view this status by watching the
ACK status field.
Application ACK : it tells the data reached the target or not and after reached to the target it processed success or not in the target system.
By using some settings in XI and ABAP we can get the Application ACK.

Hi
In short ALEAUDIT is nothing but the Acknowledgements for IDOCs
Using ALE audit you can monitor the processing status of dispatched IDocs in the receiving system (inbound) from the sending SAP system. The receiving SAP system periodically sends confirmation messages to the sending system. These confirmations are logged in IDoc status records and in separate audit tables in the sending system.
