EWA - collect data from satellite system and send to solution manager syste

Good morning,

I have a Solution manager system when I've created a EWA session scheduled every monday.

The EWA session must receive data from satellite system.

From the SDCCN of my satellite system I've created a new task "request session data" but it doesn't work because in the RFC destination, I can find only SAP oss reference and not my solution manager system, so data don't reach solman sys.

Of course the SM59 is correctly configured.

Otherwise, if I create another task "refresh session" I can select my solution manager system from rfc destination.

I would ask help for correctly configure periodic task in satellite system for sending data to solution manager system.

Anyone could help me?

Hi,

in your satellite system you need also a RFC connection SM_<SID>CLNT<XXX>_BACK connection to your SAP Solution Manager. This will automatically be created in the satellite system if you connect it via transaction SMSY from SAP Solution Manager. Afterwards you have to put this RFC connection to transaction SDCCN (Goto -> Settings -> Task-specific | RFC Destinations -> Settings -> Destinations).

Now you can create the "Refresh sessions" task specifically for your SAP Solution Manager by using this RFC connection.

What I would say is if is right configure a Refresh sessions palnned every week for collecting data or is necessary plane another session like "request session data".
