In QS 21 you can create insp char. which type you want to create quantitative or qualitative?

Use T.Code QS21 are create them depends on characteristics type like qualitative or quantitative.

if it is qualiltative give catalog selection set.

if it is quantitative give limits unit of measure etc..,

if existing Selection set serve the purpose no need to create one more time. you can use them verywell.
