Alert Configuration is not opening in RWB

Hi,

I'm unable to open the Alert Configuration in RWB .. but remaing all are opening fine.. If i click on Alert Configuration means.. it was asking User Id and password.. but it's not opening the Alert Configuartion window.. .. By following theSDN threads. I assisgned al the Required Roles to my user id.. even thogu It's not opening.. even that is not opening for our Basis team als.. so, please suggest me what are the settings i need to do...

Try to give the roles to ur user id in SU01 tcode.

Each users you want to use for your alert configuration must be declared in t-code SU01 of your PI system.

For doing alerts configuration you need your user must have developer role assigned. your user must have admin rights

First create a user for you from this SAP* user and assign that user all admin and developer rights

because thses SAP* user and java admin user are standard user and if you will work with these user there may be many issues for example if these user will be locked then your sand box will be gone and then you will not be able do anything with your sandbox>worst case might be that you might be needed to install again also it will ask for comparision rights also

Hi Chandran and Prateek,

I have already assigned those roles... to my User in SU01.. but.. still the problem in sma..e and one more thing.. my basis administrator is also trying for this.. even thogh it's not opening with his user id also... ..

I think some settings we need to do.. in Exchange Profile.. can any one suggest me what are things we need to do for access the Alert configuartion window in RWB..

Run the Report RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES in transaction SE38.

1. SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR

2. SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER

3. SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER
