Our current Netweaver server runs very slow during the usual operation;

can u tell us　what kind of JDK parameter will affect the performance of server？

Is there any monitoring methods?

There may be many factors that affects the performance of your server, like VM, OS, SP, installation type and more.

You can try note #724452, it is the central note and under "configuration&tuning" you can find the note that deals with JVM parameters for all different VM and OS types.

Two things that are easy to check - are you running in debug mode? did you set the logs to ERROR (see post /people/yoni.mizrachi/blog/2007/10/06/chop-your-logs).

Few more details can help:

What do you define as slow? compared to what?

Is it from the beginning or after some time?

Single user? under load?

Are you sure it is the server side and not your client?

Did you make any changes prior to that?
