in the sap sample adater, there is a trace object everywhere, but i don't know how to enable it and how to see the log outputted

You can set the tracing using Visual Admin -> server -> services -> log configurator -> locations -> com -> af
and you can see the trace information in the default.trc log, again u can see the log either using Visual Admin or
