Hi,
If the project runs for a year, what could be the daily activities of a DP consultant?
Regards,
Ajit
You will be asked to
1) understand the present situation from Demand Planner users.
2) If it is an implementation project you will need to ask for requirements, analysis, then prototyping.
3) If it is not an implementaiton project, and if you have to support, then they will provide you with docuemnts
4) Batch jobs play a main role. If you are looking for DP then you might aswell learn a little bit of BW, atleast to support few APO BW loads and enhancments.
5) Extraction and reports, understanding the reports and supporting them.
If you can specifically tell us, we might be able to help you more.
If you feel you got helpful information reward accordingly.
Thanks,
My

If you are working on the implementation project as a DP consultant then your day to day activities will be based on your project plan, customer business process mapping etc.
If you are working on a Application support then you will require to resolve queries of the client as per the SLA

hi,
A year long DP role might involve providing support post implementation or must be looking at creating a global template initially and then rolling out over a period of time to all sites/locations.
