a check meter is usually a meter that is placed next to an regular meter to perform a check on the accuracy of the regular meter.
It can also check a group of meters instead of just one.
To install it, just instal it on an installation and possibly create register relations to automatically check the consumptions.

Hi,
Create Meter Reading Units
Create Connection objects
Create Premises
Create Register Group
Create Installation.
This is the procedure till installation, further we have to full installation to make billing cycle works.
Thanks,

The easiest way is transaction EG31.
Enter an installation, a device location and a date.
Other required fields may depend on your system's config.
Relations can be made with EG75.
I'd suggest you familiarise yourself with the sap menu for utilities (transaction SISU is a shortcut!), you will find may useful extra transactions there.

Hi ,
Relations can be made directly made with EG75,
so you can directly fill the relevant data and make the relevant data.
so you need not think about any other relationships here.
Reward points if useful

hi,
My question is "in case of Check meters do we need to create register relationship with consumption meter".
Register relationship normally created in the registers of the same meter. In case of check meters,'Do we need to create register relationship with consumption meter'?.
Thanks

Hi,
YES, you have to create a Winding Group, to link the 2 (or more) Registers.

My answer is still YES.
You shouldn't create the "relation" at Register Group level. You need to create a Winding Group that links the 2 Register Group (normal + check meter Register Group).
step-by-step.
Create Normal RG for consumption Meter
Create RG for check meter (mark as "not releavant for billing.")
Create the Winding Group
Create a Device
Install you new device.
Hope this clarifies,

hi,
Please tell me how we can link 2 Register Groups (normal + check meter Register Group) through a winding group (EGW1).
When i try EGW1 there i dont find any option to link the register groups.
Please elaborate.
