controls fields in sales document

Hi friends,

I want to controle in sales document (VA01) fields like some fields i should gray out, and few fields i want mandatory,& supress like example we use in customer master data through Acc..grps.

Plz give me Transaction code and detailes..

Hi venky

Use SHD0 transaction variants . and copy the VA01 to ZA01. check the screen number where the field is to be geting disabled or grayed out after saving or if you dont want that feild remove from that sub screen where that feild is availble and save it

Now assign it to your document type and activate it

try in SHD0 by creating a screen variant

SAP menu ->Tools ->AcceleratedSAP ->Personalization

you can make a Transaction Variant in SHD0, here you can select for each case the options are W. content, Output only, Invisible, Mandatory

suppose you have made ZVA01 transaction variant , you can assign in VOV8 for your document type the Transaction Variant
