Hi Saravan,

For printing barcode into smartforms , you need to define character format as barcode in smartstyle and then use that character format in the text which you want to print as barcode.

Also, for printing it on ZEbra printer see note 750002. A sepatae device type is required. Check with ur basis team.

Try in your zebra code

find the line where it denotes your barcode

there reduce the size of your barcode

to reduce its size use the ZPL manual.

Thanks,

Hi All,

I tried reducing no of characters in the barcode. For example I was printing 0000432104001. So it was reading 0000432104.

I tried printing 432104001. It recognized properly.

Is there any limit on size?

Please help.

Hmm.. that is interesting. don't think it will work, but its worth a try. Try putting * at the beginning of the bardcode and at the end.

Not that I am aware of. At my old company, we used 128 with a length of 18 and it worked well. Make sure that your scanner is set to except that type of barcode, this could be a config issue on the hardware.

Thanks for ur promt reply

But if scanner is not set to accept this type of bar code will it read when i pass data with less length?

I will try putting * at start and end of the barcode data. should * be also printed in barcode format?
