Customer Consignment Stock in WM

We have a requirement to create customer consignment inventory. The inventory is not immediately shipped to the customer it will stay in the WM managed warehouse for some time. Is it possible to do this in SAP. We will need the quants that represent this inventory to be displayed with the special stock indicator of 'W'.
