Adding older systems to Solution Manager

Hey all,

I've got a (perhaps simple) question:

We have a Solution Manager 4.0 system.

Now I'm trying to hook up a satelite system which is a R/3 4.6C.

When adding this system in SMSY I don't have the option to select anything besides the ECC 5.0 and ECC 6.0 systems.

I can still connect it when I say it's ECC 5.0.

But when i try to generate the RFC's I can't get the trusted RFC to work due to missing authorization. I know I need the S_RFCACL but this profile/role does not exist.

What can I do?????

Is it even possible to get this working with 4.6C?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your swift reply.

Unfortunately this does only answer the last bit of my question.

The 4.6C system I want to attach has a patch level of 2283 so that's no problem.

I still don't know how to add the S_RFCACL authorization......

Does this role/profile go by a different name on lower releases (like 4.6C)?
