SOAP Codepage different with size of message

Hello,

there is a really strange problem with my SOAP - Adapter. When I send a message with german umlauts (öäü, etc.) they are are transfered in a normal way, when the message is logged in the message monitoring.

Same Adapter/Interface/Mapping with a big message, which is not logged to the message monitoring messes up all umlauts.

Has anyone experienced such a behaviour? Any solutions?

The error occurs after mapping, so I think the blog won't help me....

HI,

You havent receive any message in monitoring else you receive german message what is your problem. I think messages are independent of size for displaying in monitoring.

I won't get a message in the monitioring if it is "too big". I guess that there is a setting anywhere in the XI where this is managed.

What leaves me a bit puzzled is, that the behaviour of the umlauts depends on the monitoring?! Maybe there are also settings for this?!
