TP_CALL_FAILED

Hi Experts,

I am not able to release a transport from Development. It is throwing an error in SE09: Could not start transport control program tp.

STMS --> Import Overview --> System Status shows as Error when reading the queue.

TMS Alert Viewer: Error Message is as follows:

System N01 Command TMS_MGR_READ_TRANSPORT_QUEUE

Client 000 Service Transport Service

User TMSADM Start Online

Date 16.05.2008 Function TMS_TP_SHOW_BUFFER

Time 10:32:16 Message TP_CALL_FAILED

Could not start transport control program tp

RFC error: Error opening an RFC connection.

I have restarted the system and it is working fine now.

But I am not aware of the issue. Any suggestions will be appreciated in finding the cause.
