Hi gurus when i am posting a material in MB1C or using MIGO

i am geting an error posting not possible for 2008/5 and 0000/00

clarify this

Go to tcode OMSY check if the current month is present under the current period, if no then go to MMPV put the corresponding year and month you want to close until the current month and current year and execute.

You have to do it one by one only for each month until current.

After this goods posting should happen.

Hi Rajesh,

Goto OMSY and select your Company Code and check whether ABP is Activated or not.

I think it is not Activated because of which you are getting this error.

Revert back if you have any other problem.

in MMPV T.code close posting period till current month you have to close.

hi friend ,,

th error is comming because the previous posting period is open.

you need to close the posting period in the trascation code

mmpv

enter the company code

and the financial period or date and select check and close period

Hi

check the posting period in the material master in mm02 in costing 2 tab you will find the posting date.

and check the quantity value updating in thos transaction for that valuation area.

check in omsy and is it 05 2008 for the month
