Hi,

While delivry & Picking is complete,but while doing PGI system showing error that Delivery item is not or only partially packed

So please give me the solution how to solve this issue.

Dear Rashmi,

Check Whether you have maintained Material Group Packaging Material as G010 in Material master Basic Data 1 view.

Check the Item Category Group and General Item Category Group as VERP.

If you have maintained so, Then goto VL02N and goto EDIT in the menu bar and click on Pack

Specify the Packaging Material number in Packaging Material field and select both the line items and Click on PACK.

Now carry out with Picking and PGI.

Revert back if you have any doubts.

Hi Rashmi,

Standard SAP system Doesnt allow you to pick Goods Partially, That means If you want to deliver 10 Quantity thhen Picking quantity should be equal to 10,

But if you want to deliver partial items, Say the order is of 10 quant and you want to deliver 5 , so put deliver quantity 5 and pick quantity also 5. Save the delivery Doc and Do PGI.

Hi rashmi

you might have done two mistakes

1) picking quantityis less then delivery quanity.

eg picking quantity=10 and delivery quantity =20

2) packing quantity also you have give the same quantity what you want to deliver. do this i hope you won't get error.

Hi Rashmi,

It seems that the material you are using needs to be Packed in some other material. For solving the issue use T-code Vl02n and select the line item and then click on PACK icon or alternatively use the main menu EDIT-->PACK and select the packing material and then complete the packing process.

hi rashmi,

goto your delivery doc using VL02n if you have saved the the delivery docwithout pgi . if you have not saved the doc goto VL01N give the sales order number

goto Picking tab. enter the picked quantity = delivery quantity

do PGI

this should solve your problem

Please confirm that picking is done completelly or not. If not then pick quantity complitly then do hte PGI.
