protection against page break for line types

HI all,

In the protection against page break for line types the procedure given by sap is as follows.

- 1. Expand the main area of your table node in the navigation tree.

- 2. Insert a file node for the table lines to be protected in the main area.

- 3. If you have already created table lines in the main area, you can put the lines that you want to protect again page break under the file using Drag&Drop. Otherwise, create the table lines as subnodes of the file.

- 4. Choose the Output Options tab page of the file node and set the Page Protection option. All table lines that are in the file with the Page Protection option set are output on one page.

My question is what is FILE NODE in the 2 nd step ?

Thanks in advance

Krupali..

Hi,

1. In this Scenario,File Node is nothing But,Folder Node.

2.Generally ,we can protect table lines by using the folder node in forms.

A folder node is a File Node.

FileNode is used to group similar or that belong to same group to have under some name so as to give them similar attributes.

Hi,

If you are working in ECC 6.0, u can see a ' Create Folder' option when you right click in the main area of the table.

You can put the lines that you want to protect again page break under a folder using Drag&Drop. Otherwise, create the table lines as subnodes of the folder.

Hope it helps.

Regards.
