Hello,
We are moving DIRs from one SAP instance to another. The DIRs have originals that are checked in to a content server. The content server (the actual same server machine with the checked in files) will be configured on the target system with the same Storage cat. name.
We cannot ALE the DIRs to the target system so we must recreate them.
Additionally, some of the document numbers (DOKNR) will change. We will be using custom ABAP to both extract the DIR information, and re-create the DIRs on the target system.
Is there a way to tell SAP that the originals are already checked in so that the "link" to the actual files on the content server are re-established?
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
John
Hello,
Kindly check up the following programs, they could be useful to you.
1) DMS_RELOCATE_CONTENT
or
2) DMS_KPRO_CONVERT2

Hi
I think if you maintain same number range then reactivating content server from SPRO will help establishing link between DIR and attachement

Let me know if it helps !!!
