Eg: to prepare a list of some 100 items like line item for soaps.
we have to create each and every material or is there any process in reducing the work.

If all the 100's are treated as different materials, the you need to crete all the 100 material masters. If the propertiesare the same, then you can choose, copy from while creating the material master.

You can copy remaining materials if there is a little difference in consecutive material.
All u will need then is to amend only selected fields while creaing the material.
